Site Blocking laws have now passed #Parliament in Australia!
"The bill will allow copyright holders such as film studios and record labels to apply to the Federal Court for an injunction requiring all Australian ISPs to block overseas websites ("online locations") facilitating piracy."

More bad news for Downloaders! Especially if you're downloading the sitcom 'Friends'
"Over the past few weeks, Warner Bros has been going after pirates using various torrent websites to illegally download the sitcom Friends.
The movie studio has been sending settlement demands to those in question, which requests they pay a $20 fee for illegally downloading the show."

If anyone is with the ISP #Westnet, then make sure you change your account password ASAP!
"In an online posting, picked up by Sydney-based infosec writer Cyber War News, a hacker going by the name Mufasa claimed to have a cache of "valuable data," including customer details and unencrypted plaintext passwords.
A statement from iiNet indicates that the compromised information could also include addresses and telephone numbers. The hacker is now offering to "sell or trade" this data."

The last version of Windows now has an official release date! And it's this July!
"Windows 10 will come with new features such as Cortana, Microsoft Edge – Windows newest browser, Xbox Live and the integrated Xbox app, and a slew of other new and updated multimedia apps. The software will even debut with the Office 2016 full featured desktop suite where “users will be able to experience new universal Windows applications for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, all available separately”."
